Some Sketches.

Here are three completed sketches from Painter. Two are new, I drew them freehand in Painter, the other is the angel from my previous post, I just set it up for print and added some text. Here is a breakdown of what you are looking at.

The first is called "Nimis". The name Nimis was chosen because, it is one of the five types of gluttony. I thought it was fitting for this sketch, as well as the quote, which is from Seneca.
The second is called "Walden", which I thought was fitting because of the woodgrain background. The quote is from Thoreau's "Walden; Life in the Woods".
And last but not least is the angel from my previous post. I named him "Enoch" because of the Book of Enoch, which is also partly why he was created. The scripture is from Jude 1:6. My favorite part about this fallen angel is his tattoo, the typical "mom" tattoo but it says Abba instead. I love it!
I'm thinking about getting some nice quality prints done for First Friday, but I'm worried no one will buy them. I always get anxiety when it comes to selling my artwork or releasing my music, I'm always worried that I'm my biggest fan (when I happen to be my worst critic).

These are terrific my friend- I especially like Walden. The colors and strokes are excellent. The shading is layered really well and adds a lot of depth to the piece. You'd sell some stuff at first fridays for sure. Let me know if you ever exhibit and I will make sure that you get a sale... from me. :) My dream is to one day have a house with a design office decorated in art created by my fellow art friends. Would be cool. Great job- I'd keep integrating your sketches into your digital art workflow- it works SO well.
